Winning the $50,000 SimpleGenerosity grant from Valley First, a division of First West Credit Union and Enderby & District Financial, a division of First West CU would propel them one step closer to opening a Youth Resource Centre in Penticton. The Youth Resource Centre will be a one-stop hub of youth services with support from 26 local youth serving agencies. The YRC will provide health care services as well as assist youth with basic needs like food, showers, laundry and toiletries. There will be many opportunities for learning and trying new activities including cooking classes, job training, and budgeting.
