Winning the $50,000 SimpleGenerosity grant from Envision Financial, a division of First West Credit Union will enable Cyrus Centre to operate its Breakfast Club program for two years. This new initiative supports youth and young adults who are about to, or have recently aged out of adolescent supports and programs. The Breakfast Club will open every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 am-12:00 pm as well as afterhours support. The purpose of the Breakfast Club is to provide youth and young adults with a space to build community and be involved in the community. The Breakfast Club seeks to provide each and every individual with the opportunity to be successful. The Breakfast Club will provide individuals with a hot breakfast, a space to learn and a place to be heard, as well as provide access to showers, laundry and the Food Bank.
