We’ve been promising you a peak at our 2023 grantees and today we are pleased to roll out in the Envision Financial, a division of First West Credit Union region, with our founding fund, the Envision Financial Community Endowment.
A first-time grantee this year, we are inspired to highlight Ridge Meadows Seniors Society, recipient of a $25,000 Envision Financial Community Endowment grant, housed with the First West Foundation.
Ridge Meadows Seniors Society (RMSS) has been connecting adults 55+ with services, while fostering shared experiences and well being; opening their doors in 1999 and serving seniors in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows since 2013.
“The $25,000 grant from First West Foundation, Envision Financial will help The Ridge Meadows Seniors Society provide nutritious meals & socialization to seniors in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows through a new Lunch Buddies Program. Healthy eating is a key part of aging well, maintaining independence and sustaining quality of life. This funding couldn’t have come at a better time!”
