In under a week, our volunteers were able to put together 500 Family Hygiene Kits (each kit had 14 family sized items) for Women and Children coming to Vancouver from Ukraine. United Way of the Lower Mainland called and we responded...fast!
We were only able to do this because our donors have been so generous in dropping off hygiene product and funds. By doing this it allows us to be ready. A big thank you to TELUS Friendly Future Foundation for your donation. This allows us to concentrate on getting the job done!
We also could not do our work without the support of Diamond Delivery and First Canadian Messenger. They acted quickly, came to pick up the 5 pallets of products and got it to Vancouver in record time.
When we all work together, amazing things happen.
