Second Hand Hope, a Social Enterprise of Soap for Hope Canada, is helping Soap for Hope Canada collect hygiene items and basic First Aid supplies to send in a 40ft container to the Polish-Ukraine border. These supplies will be used in a field hospital and registration center for new arrivals.

Second Hand Hope is assisting Soap for Hope Canada by collecting hygiene products that will go in the container. The Thrift Store will be open on Saturday March 5th from 10am – 2 pm to accept product donations. Second Hand Hope is at 444 William Street.

Products must be NEW as we do not have the manpower to sort through used items. We have been asked to supply Baby Items (diapers, diaper cream, baby shampoo, baby lotion), Body Lotion, Bars of wrapped Soap, Shampoo, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Combs, Brushes, Face clothes, Towels and Feminine Products. Basic First Aid items are also required and will be greatly appreciated.

“There is huge worry and anxiety over this crisis, Second Hand Hope wants to help and is offering a $5 discount at their store for each donation brought into the Thrift Store on Saturday, (tax receipts for any financial donations will be issued by Soap for Hope Canada).

Second Hand Hope encourages each person watching these atrocities to do one thing to help...bring in a bar of soap, a box of band aides or anything from our list of needed supplies to show someone from the Ukraine that we are thinking of them and we care.
