The Kidney Foundation of Canada provides short term financing, education materials, research funding, advocacy, and support to the 1 in 10 Canadians living with kidney disease. Every year, Kidney Walks are held across Canada to raise money and awareness, as well as foster community.
Catherine Sutherland (pictured right), who is not only a Volunteer Walk Organizer for The Kidney Foundation of Canada's Eastern Chapter but also a dear family friend, was kind enough to accept NCU's 21 Community Charity Kickoff donation on The Kidney Foundation's behalf and will be adding these funds to those raised during this year's Kidney Walk.
