Here's an amazing story that will make you smile! We've worked with Compassionate Resource Warehouse, a charity based in Victoria, BC, for years to supply them with containers to help them deliver a variety of donated goods and equipment to those in need around the world.
In 2020, there was devastating explosion at a shipping port in Beirut, Lebanon. The BigSteelBox container in this photo was on the dock in Beirut when the explosion occurred, and was found buried under the rubble one year later, completely intact with no damage!
This container was just delivered to its original destination at a Syrian refugee camp where people are still living in camps or unheated buildings. Inside the container is:
- Setup for a skill development school of hairdressing (chairs, sinks, etc)
- Set up for a skill development sewing school
- Set up for a skill development carpentry shop
- School supplies
- Orphanage bunk beds and bedding
- Lots of winter clothing, shoes, etc.
Thank you Compassionate Resource Warehouse for all the great work you do for so many in need! Learn more here: www.crwarehouse.ca
