Envision Financial, a division of First West Credit Union through First West Foundation's Simple Generosity program just donated $2,000 of #LearningPotential to Ibelong Community Programs! Sometimes a school supplies list can be overwhelming and expensive - especially if it’s your first day of school in a new country! That’s why Ibelong, through their “Start Right” backpacks program gives children new to our community everything they need to thrive in school. This $2,000 Simple Generosity donation is helping Ibelong supply 40 children this year this year who escaped violence including refugee claimants and those who have escaped domestic violence locally through Ishtar Women’s Resource Society, so that they can focus on learning and growing as new Canadian residents.
