Grow Calgary is Canada's largest urban community farm that grows healthy and organic produce. With over 35,000 helpful volunteers since 2013, they donate everything they grow to 100+ social agencies and compassionate charities with food access programs in Calgary and the surrounding area. To name a few, they donate their fresh produce to the Veteran's Association Food Bank, Veteran's Health Program & Healthy Heroes. Grow Calgary also works with 20,000 children and students of all ages, ranging from Kindergarten to University. In the current pandemic, they work with hundreds of students that are homeschooling.

The donation of a 20’ Secure-Rite Mobile Storage unit has proven to be invaluable to the maintenance of the Grow Calgary Urban Community Farm; not only does the unit keep tools and equipment organized and out of the way, but the team has experienced zero theft or loss thanks to the security benefits that come with using a shipping container and the reinforced steel lock box provided.
