Congratulations to #SimpleGenerosity recipient from Envision Financial, a division of First West Credit Union, Gabrielle Hoffer! She’s donating her $1,000 award to Catholic Charities Justice Services. Gabrielle has been volunteering with the program for over 17 years. Through the program, Gabrielle supports prison chaplains in assisting offenders to readjust to life back in society. Gabrielle has helped people to redeem, restore and reconcile their lives. She collects items such as calendars, blank greeting cards and rosaries for the inmates and their families. The cards are very important as they help inmates keep in touch with their families on special occasions. The support that Gabrielle and other volunteers in the program provide, also help the released offenders to step back into society and help create safer communities by significantly reducing the re-offence rates.
