GreenStep Solutions Inc is looking for volunteers who are able to work 3-4 hour shifts either as:
1. Green Police stationed at waste stations at the event and helping to ensure that participants know what is recyclable and what bin to put it in. You may be required to pull a few recyclables out of the garbage, and vice versa, but we'll provide gloves! We are also hoping to arrange for composting services.
2. Waste Auditors to help measure and quantify how much recycling we diverted from the landfill at the end of the event.
3. Roamers to help provide breaks and support to the waste auditors during their shifts.
Training, gloves, etc will be provided onsite. Please email info@greenstep.ca if you are interested in helping!
Shifts will be as follows:
5 people @ 9:30-1:30 - Green Police only
5 people @ 1:30-5:30 - Green Police and Waste Auditors
1 person @ 10-1 - Roamer
1 person @ 1-4 - Roamer
