Helping out at Soap for Hope (a program of Disaster Aid Canada) has a terrific impact on our communities: the hospitality industry contributes gently used hygiene materials to the program (thus mitigating the environmental cost of disposal), and the goods are redirected where they're needed the most. People displaced from their homes locally or through natural disasters benefit from the hygiene packs that are put together by a dedicated team of volunteers and staff. As you can imagine, this is highly labour-intensive, but volunteers are generously welcomed for some #goodcleanfun
