Volunteer Position

Volunteer Educator

An opportunity to support individuals in our community through financial education, mentorship and collaboration.

Our Volunteer Facilitators are an integral part of Launch Okanagan and we simply could not do it without them. They bring experience, education, and skills from a variety of backgrounds: financial, business, not for profit, adult education, and the social service sector.
If you love working with small groups of people and are passionate about financial literacy, please get in touch. The great thing about volunteering with Launch is that while you have the opportunity to pass along your knowledge, we guarantee you will also learn new ideas and approaches to managing your own finances, both from the training we provide and from the discussions with program participants.
We offer three programs with a variety of hours and duration so volunteers can choose what works them.
For more information on programs please go to https://www.launchokanagan.ca/ab...
All of our volunteers are provided training via an online financial literacy course through Prosper Canada. We also support our volunteers through mentoring with more experienced facilitators.

This volunteer position has no scheduling requirements attached to it. You can work out your availability and time commitment directly with the organizer.
