We are proud that FirstOntario is sponsoring the Niagara Canada Summer Games. Be part of the last leg of the land torch relay on Sunday, July 31 which will start at the FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre in St. Catharines. The pre-run rally begins at 9 am and we will have our FirstOntario tent onsite to welcome all runners and our community. As part of the festivities our CSO Dave Schurman and CEO Lloyd Smith will share a few words before Lloyd kicks-off the torch relay through St. Catharines.

You too can participate! Be part of the "sea" of Blue Wave runners joining Lloyd as he carries the torch in the first leg of the St. Catharines Torch Relay.

VOLUNTEER DETAILS:

- Location: FirstOntario Performing Arts Centre - 250 St Paul St, St. Catharines, ON L2R 3M2

- Time: 8:45 - 10:15 AM

- Scheduled Run Time: 10 AM

- Lloyd is the first torchbearer in the St. Catharines Torch Relay and Blue Wave volunteers will follow behind him for the duration of his leg/run as he caries the torch to the next torch bearer. The approximate run distance is 1 KM.

- Volunteers are required to wear their Blue Wave gear as we will want to stand out amongst the crowd and volunteers from other organizations.

PLEASE NOTE: Do not bring any valuables or items that cannot be kept on you at all times as there will not be anywhere to store them.
