100+ Women Who Care | Powell River100+ Women Who Care | Powell River, is based on the simple concept of bringing together 100+ women who commit to meet four times a year, contribute $50 at each meeting, and make a large impact on local charity. #thePOWERof100 100+ Women Who Care was first started in Jackson, Michigan, by Karen Dunigan in 2006. Her group of 100 women, at their first one-hour meeting, raised $12,800 to buy 300 new baby cribs for an organization in their city. Currently there are more than 400 actively operating chapters located throughout the world with several more under development.
