Volunteer Position
Lunch Preparation Volunteer
Feed Kelowna!Volunteers come at 8am and are welcome to have a coffee as we set up. There will be a maximum of 6 of us in total.
Volunteers help with building and labeling the sandwiches, and bagging them with fruit and a multigrain bar!
Tasks include:
- Washing fresh produce
- Mixing the sauces
- Sanitizing the stations
- Counting meals
We do not wear masks, however, if this makes any individual more comfortable we welcome wearing them.
Gloves and sanitizer are provided by us and the facility is spacious to make sure everyone is comfortable and feels safe!
Currently we make 40 bagged lunches a day Monday to Thursday and 110 on Fridays.
VOLUNTEER HOURS
Monday: 9am-10am
Tues, Wednesday, Thursday: 8am to 9am
Fridays: 8.30am to 10-10.30am
This volunteer position has no scheduling requirements attached to it. You can work out your availability and time commitment directly with the organizer.
