Stories of our community involvement
A very very cool moment for us as a social enterprise. Our first four-figure donation. And it's all thanks to you.

For believing in a change, an advance in awareness, resources, and various ways of support.

Through incredible sponsorship and community contributions we were able to raise $1597.86 for the winning team of Strike Out The Stigma which just so happens to be the gracious folx over at The Canadian Mental Health Association

They brought their a-game, and continue to day in and day out supporting the community with innovation, support programs, housing and an always warm and welcoming greeting.

We're excited about future collaborations - so stay tuned!!
World Mental Health Day is an international day for global mental health education and advocacy against social stigma. The overall objective is raising awareness of mental health issues around the world and mobilizing efforts in support of mental health.

safeTALK certified! Thanks to The Canadian Mental Health Association

When Michael and I first started You Are Collective .. we wanted to make a difference. We wanted to talk about mental health and illness so people would start to understand they're not alone, we all go through challenges, and it's COMPLETELY OK to talk about.

This course is just one step towards being able to #endthestigma and help educate our society about what it means to have mental health, illness, suicidal thoughts and actions .. and how to support someone going through it (even yourself!)

We highly, highly recommend taking this course whether you've been close to suicide or someone with suicidal thoughts or not .. it never hurts to be educated! Check out @cmhanational website to find a course near you!
Yesterday Pihl Law Corporation's Bree Hankins, Andrew Prior, and Nathan MacDermott participated in the 5th annual Orchard Park Shopping Centre's 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament. Proceeds raised will go directly to the The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), and this year, funds raised will support the CMHA's new initiative, Discovery College - an educational approach to increasing skills, abilities and confidence to manage challenges like stress and anxiety.
Proud to have made a donation to The Canadian Mental Health Association and The Foundry Kelowna. I also got a tour of their amazing facility! Best part might have been meeting Henry their friendly and furry support staff! 😉💛 #mentalhealth #notalone #youthmentalhealth #kelownanow #kanmanagement

We are too excited to take a proper photo! I teamed up with Interior Savings as did my coworker Amy Hanson so we could spread some cheer and do some local good. Interior Savings gifted us $100 each so we could give back to our wonderful program participants at Willowbridge, run by the Canadian Mental Health Association. We were able to load up some Tim Horton’s gift cards for them to use during this holiday season and let them know someone is thinking of them. Thank you for this opportunity and encouraging a sense of community! If I could increase my impact with $1000 I would donate to The Canadian Mental Health Association, Kelowna #localmoneylocalgood #interiorsavings #cmha #mentalhealth #willowbridge #november2018 Do Some Good @DoSomeGoodCA
Day of Difference Interior Savings volunteers at Willowbridge, one of our supportive housing units, helping with clean-up! Thanks for all your support!
