Events Director - Okanagan Pride Board of Directors

Be part of the best Pride Festival ever and support for the LGBT community!

The purpose of the Event Director’s role is to produce, organize and coordinate activities for our community that are meaningful, fun, profitable and that contribute to the mandate of the Society.
The key outcomes associated with the Events Director’s role are:
Planning events and other ways for our community to get together, meet and socialize, organizing opportunities for our community to share interests and try new ones, and creating safe places for our community to come out to have fun!
The Event Director’s impact is measured by:
Participation in the events and the variety and quantity of events
This position is all about FUN! If your friends are always saying, "you should plan parties professionally" and Instagraming every detail - this is the position for you!
You have excellent contacts and are willing to leverage these existing relationships to make events that POP. This role oversees the development of several fundraising and FUNraising events each year, including and especially the annual Okanagan Pride Festival in August.
Join a dynamic and enthusiastic group on the Okanagan Pride board as we make this the best year ever!

This volunteer position has no scheduling requirements attached to it. You can work out your availability and time commitment directly with the organizer.
