What people are saying about us
Alison PrenticeQuesnel Pride Society

Quesnel Integris Credit Union was VERY responsive to our needs. Integris has also offered to create financial literacy workshops for the LGBTQ2S+ community ... an opportunity that we hope our community will avail themselves of.

We Thank Integris Credit Union for their generous support of the 2022 Vanderhoof International Airshow! We couldn't do it without the participation of volunteers and local business! We hope to see you at the event!

Elaine StoreyAutumn Services

The staff and volunteers at Autumn Services work together like a family. We support one another through idea sharing and are never afraid to ask for help when tackling a new situation. At Autumn Services we have welcomed Integris into our family and have happily shared their great success with our community. When they were new to the community, we opened our doors to them and created an atmosphere where friendships could be fostered and supported. Our community and Autumn Services are richer thanks to our new friends and family at Integris Credit Union. Thank you for believing in us.

Stories of our community involvement
Team Integris Credit Union had a blast FUNdraising alongside the Prince George Public Library at their annual #RaiseaReader event. Proceeds support the PGPL’s #HomeworkHelp and other important educational initiatives.

Hadih!
Lheidli T’enneh FN held our AGA this time last month. It has been a while since we’ve been able to hold such a big in-person event and we had so much fun! LTN was happy to be able to bring community members from all over home to take part in this event with us.
Mussi Cho to everyone who worked so hard to make this event a success. We appreciate all the time and effort our staff, vendors and volunteers contributed to our AGA weekend!

"The NWR Youth Canoe Trip is a wonderful way to connect with other similarly minded youth and learn about the ways you can have fun while being respectful of your environment and giving back to your community." - August 14th NWR Youth Canoe Trip Attendee

After the first day of paddling with the NWR Youth Canoe Trip on August 13th, all canoe trip attendees, community partners, families, and community members were invited to a community barbeque catered by Willow Roots Guest Ranch and sponsored by Integris Credit Union and their awesome #ICUBBQ! The community barbeque served as an opportunity to connect about the experience of the day, as well as a touch point between youth that paddled on the first day and youth that would be paddling on the second day. Thank you to Integris Credit Union for all the support!

Kara Geary
On August 13th and 14th, the Nechako Watershed Roundtable (NWR) hosted the second annual Youth Canoe Trip in partnership with Integris Credit Union, the Rivershed Society of B.C., Koh-Learning in Our Watersheds, the Fraser Basin Council, and the Nechako Environment and Water Stewardship Society. This canoe trip was a huge success with a total of 18 youth joining over the course of the weekend! The youth in attendance were all between the ages of 13-20 years old and were all from communities within the Nechako Watershed, including Fort. St. James, Vanderhoof, Saik’uz First Nation, Prince George, and Lheidli T’enneh First Nation.
Two separate groups of youth joined to paddle a 25km section of the Nechako River, ending at Riverside Park in Vanderhoof. Each day of paddling started with a welcome to the traditional territory of the Saik’uz First Nation, an icebreaker for youth to get to know each other, and a statement of intent for the day. The purpose of this trip was to connect youth to the land, the water, each other, and the community by encouraging them to explore their place in nature. Youth learned about the history of the Nechako Watershed, the cultural importance of the life the watershed supports, water monitoring and water quality testing, sustainable outdoor recreation, and the connection between environmental health and community health. The NWR would like to extend a huge thank you to every community and community member that made this trip possible. If you, or a youth you know, are interested in becoming part of the NWR Youth Engagement Working Group to help advocate for the health of the Nechako Watershed and make events like this happen, please email Jordan at NWR@unbc.ca.
