1697s Rugby was founded by first responders Adam & Katie Gordon, to connect emergency services personnel in the North with the community of rugby in 2019. By Spring 2023, 1697s Rugby has evolved and leads the way in Northern BC as strong advocate for youth rugby, connecting youth to opportunities and breaking down barriers for access to sport and development.
