One person can change the world, the way we perceive it and our attitudes towards one another. Personally and professionally I am always looking for ways to create a positive impact and to help others find their purpose. I love people and find them fascinating - as a mother to a young daughter it is my responsibility to be a positive role model by showing her that every life matters.
Vancouver, British ColumbiaMills Office ProductivityWhy I volunteered here: To support the movement of using the power of business as a force for good.
Why I volunteered here: Believe in supporting local businesses and promoting the local economy that we live in.
Why I volunteered here: I volunteer for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank because of what they stand for - providing healthy and sustainable food to members of our community in a dignified manner. Many of their programs are working towards ending the cycle of poverty.
Why I volunteered here: I volunteered here to help those individuals that were isolated or in need of companionship. When my cousin was in the hospital I realized there were a lot of people that are dying alone. I wanted to honour her memory and impact someone's life.
