Last year, 27 volunteers dedicated a combined total of 882 hours with our Eco Detectives Day Camp program! We are now looking for four volunteers per week to help with Spring Break Eco Detectives. Volunteers must be available for training during March 4, and commit to at least a one week session throughout March 13 - 24, 2017. Volunteer shifts will run as morning (8 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.), afternoon (12:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.), or all day (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.). This is an incredible learning opportunity for volunteers to become more familiar with the Park, develop their skills working with children, and help empower children to connect with nature in meaningful ways. If you would like to get involved, please contact Alicia Fontaine (vols@stanleyparkecology.ca) to let us know you are interested in this opportunity.
