This year’s Good Food Box fundraising initiative in partnership with the Community Foundation of the North Okanagan is aimed at tackling food insecurity among North Okanagan seniors. Our goal is to raise enough funds to sponsor 100 North Okanagan Senior’s Good Food Boxes for an entire year! This program provides essential nutrition through fresh fruits and vegetables, greatly enhancing the health and well-being of sponsored seniors.Sponsoring a senior not only addresses their nutritional needs but also fosters a sense of community and connection. Each delivery serves as a poignant reminder to seniors that they are cherished and remembered. Your generous contribution can significantly impact their daily lives, offering comfort and peace of mind.
With a donation of $216, you can sponsor a Senior Small Box for a whole year, ensuring a monthly supply of seasonally available fresh produce. For $360, the Senior Small Box Plus provides additional nourishment with a half loaf of Cobs Bread, half a dozen farm-fresh eggs, and a locally curated treat each month.
