Meridian Credit Union Walkerton and Hanover Branches paired up with Kits for a Cause at the end of September. Meridian Walkerton put together kits for one of our local schools and the Big Door, a new drop-in center for teens in Walkerton opening next week. This is a much-needed center creating a safe space for teens, offering; activities, a quiet space to hang out and healthy snacks and frozen meals they can heat up. We were very fortunate to have Sarah Saso, VP of ESG and Social Impact for MCU visiting the branch. Sarah helped deliver the kits and it was inspiring to experience the passion that both she and Graham Ghent from Big Door, share regarding community and helping those in need.
