Peninsula Co-op supports trauma-informed daycare centre
Through a partnership with United Way Greater Victoria, Peninsula Co-op is proud to donate $6,000 to the Hulitan Family and Community Services Society for the new Early Years Centre. This trauma-informed, Indigenous-focused daycare centre opening in Colwood will provide families with access to Elders, cultural healing, and counselling services while supporting 73 youth in their daycare classrooms. We are happy to fund resources and materials for learning and play in the 3-5 year old room.
