Swinging Under the Stars Shines in Melita
What need has your organization addressed in the community due to Valleyview Co-op's support
The Melita Band Parent Committee wants to continue to support the school band program. We believe this helps support the arts in our community and the kids that live and go to school in the town of Melita. Our fundraising has a direct impact on the amount of band trips and festivals our kids can attend. Exposure to other bands and opportunities to perform outside the school settings, helps grow our students love for making music.
Please describe the support received from Valleyview Co-op and the impact it has made
Valleyview Co-op graciously donated the chips that we served at our guest tables and all the refreshments. This impacted our fundraising efforts by not taking away from our profits. Thank you.
What support is still needed and how can people learn more or get involved?
Continue to support our various fundraising campaign throughout the school year. Including our new annual swinging under the stars.
