Homestead Co-op Donation to La Salle Juniors Curling
What need has your organization addressed in the community due to Homestead Co-op support?
Providing an activity that is affordable and convenient for kids living in our community. We are also encouraging kids to be active and to have fun with one another. Our Junior program in La Salle had 31 kids for the 2023-2024 season.
Please describe the support received from Homestead Co-op and the impact it has made
The Co-op has donated prizes for our Pick-A-Prize table. Each child is given the opportunity to pick a prize after the bonspiel. This has been in the form of both gift cards and Co-op brand items (food items, backpack, toque, travel mug). Our event is geared towards having a great time on the curling ice!!
What support is still needed and how can people learn more or get involved?
Looking for donations, either monetary, items or gift cards to assist in providing prizes for the kids.
