Peninsula Co-op Gives the Gift of Sport!
Community Impact
KidSport Victoria is a very grateful recipients of a generous $15,000 matching donation from Peninsula Co-op, related to our 2023 Give the Gift of Sport campaign. This donation laid the foundation for us to motivate others to give generously over the holiday season, at a time that our fundraising needs are very high as a result of substantial rise in demand for help from our local community. Ultimately, our recent Give the Gift of Sport campaign was very successful, raising over $47,000 - enough for us to support a further 131 local kids and teens living in financial need with access to organized sport. This was a huge win as we finished out our biggest-ever year in terms of demand for season-of-sport registration fee help from our community - and was so valuable in terms of encouraging both long term and new donors to support our work. How You Can Help
Last year we reached almost 1200 local kids in need with over $400,000 in season-of-sport registration fees. This reach would simply not be possible without generous corporate and individual donors. We expect demand to further rise through 2024, and are working hard to find ways to fundraise sufficient dollars this year to meet the need.
