Nanaimo District Secondary School students held their Empty Bowl fundraiser on March 9. For a $20 admission, people got bread and a handmade clay bowl with which to have soup. Loaves and Fishes Community Food Bank was the beneficiary and $4,700 was raised. (Submitted photo)
