Dreams Are Being Made At Oak Lake School

What need has your organization addressed in the community due to Valleyview Co-op support?

Every year our student Council supports the Dream Factory by asking students to purchase a sticker for Wear Green for a Dream on St. Patrick's Day. This year we were able to raise more money and support for sick children by having a hotdog hot lunch fundraiser with most of the proceeds going to the Dream factory.

Please describe the support received from Valleyview Co-op and the impact it has made

Valleyview Co-op graciously donated the wieners and hotdog buns to our hot lunch fundraiser. They also made sure we had sale prices for all drinks, chips and cookies that were also purchased for our hot lunch.
Since the wieners and buns were our biggest expense, Co-op helped us keep our costs lower which allowed us to send more money to the Dream Factory. Students were also able to purchase extra hotdogs for $1.00 with all those proceeds going to Dream Factory as well.
Some extra money was raised by selling Dream factory Stickers for $1.00 and some students donated extra money.
