The Kelowna Taiwanese Cultural Society (KTCS) who is hosting and partnering with Tranq Sleep Care to raise funds for the Kelowna General Hospital (KGH) Foundation . We are excited to announce the first Okanagan Wellness & Asian Fair on Saturday May 28, 2022, to be held at Grizzli Winery.
May is Asian Heritage Month, which offers us an opportunity to learn more about Taiwanese Canadian history. With the support of our Taiwanese community participating, we will explore and experience Taiwanese cuisine, marketplace, art, and health practices. There will be family-friendly interactive booths, fun stations (inflatables) and a silent auction.
Sleep wellness presentations will be offered for free, however seating is limited, so registration is highly recommended. We will have renowned physicians and experts that will be speaking on pediatric and adolescent sleep, sports and concussion and sleep, as well as the effects of the increasingly popular cannabis on our sleep.
