Coastal Community is proud to present Habitat for Humanity Victoria with $2,097, which represents a portion of Coastal Community’s Fundraising Friday Contributions from July, August and September.
Coastal Community believes in being leaders in building healthy communities by making a meaningful and visible difference in the Island Communities we serve. One of the ways in which we achieve our vision is by offering a variety of programs that grant financial support to local charities whose work benefits Vancouver Island and Gulf Islands.
Fundraising Fridays is an employee donation program where our employees donate $1 each week in support of various charitable groups, and in return, have the option of dressing casual on Fridays. Posters are displayed monthly at each of our locations to inform our membership as to which community groups Coastal Community will be supporting. Funds are accrued over the course of each month, and are donated to the chosen community groups.
