Community Foundation of the South Okanagan Similkameen Awards $140,930 in Grants Through the Emergency Community Support Fund.
CFSOS is proud to have partnered with Community Foundations of Canada and the Government of Canada to deliver more than $140,000 through the Government of Canada’s Emergency Community Support Fund (ECSF) in the South Okanagan Similkameen region.
Since launching in May 2020, the ECSF – administered by CFSOS – has granted a total of $140,930 to charities and qualified donees. These grants will support vulnerable populations impacted by COVID-19. A total of 17 projects were funded, supporting children, youth, seniors, vulnerable workers, those requiring special care and supports and marginalized populations.

• Henning Emergency Clinic of Kindness

• Salvation Army Foodbank

• Erris Creek Volunteer Firefighters
• Crohn’s & Colitis Society of BC
• Good Samaritan Society
• Canadian Cancer Society
• OneSky Community Resources Society
• Osoyoos Seniors Centre
• Princeton & District Community Services
