Kot Auto Group donates $19,000 to the Central Okanagan Food Bank!

The Kot Auto Group campaign for Operation 300 has wrapped and we are proud to say we were able to donate $19,000 to the Central Okanagan Community Food Bank.

During the month of May, Kot Auto Group’s Okanagan dealers (Kelowna Hyundai, Buy Direct Truck Centre, Penticton Nissan and Kelowna Kia) donated $100 per vehicle sold to the Central Okanagan Food Bank.

After successfully donating $100,000 to the IHSC in past years of Operation 300, this year’s shift was brought on by the recent events and the impact of Covid-19 and the community. In hopes of bringing extra food to local homes, this year’s donation went to the Central Okanagan Food Bank. “Being a business owner, I am aware of the hardship going on in the world especially to those losing or being laid off from employment. Having the ability to help our community is of great importance to me” said John Kot, President Kot Auto Group.
