A huge shout out to Daphne Swift, her husband Rick and all of the amazing volunteers and community sponsors and supporters that came together to make this year's BIG Shop of Horrors Haunted House even bigger and better than last. So great to be a part of this community event that brought such joy and terror to so many people and much needed money to our food banks and community charities such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Cowichan Valley and the MS Society. More than 1,700 souls were brave enough to enter this year which generated a whopping $11, 175 dollars back to the community. I had a blast helping in the Island Savings a division of First West Credit Union photo booth and raising awareness for our signature cause #TheFullCupboard. Can't wait until next year!
