I received $100 from Interior Savings and their $10,000 local give program. This money was put towards a Holiday Hamper program for adolescent teens. A group of nursing students from Thompson Rivers University, including myself, created this hamper program to support adolescent parents in the community over the holiday season. We are creating these 'Holiday Hampers' with new donations for the parents and their children, such as gift cards, clothing, books, hygiene products, and toys. Interior Savings gifted me with the $100 and I was able to purchase a whole hamper for a family. With support from the community and local businesses, we can help to ensure these families have a wonderful holiday season. The hampers will be delivered on December 18th, just in time for Christmas morning 
. We are supporting 20 adolescent parents this year and hoping to increase the numbers in years to come! Every little bit helps!
