Congratulations to our recent #SimpleGenerosity recipient from Valley First, a division of First West Credit Union, Linda Neden! She’s donating her $1,000 award to Armstrong-Spallumcheen Museum. Linda has been volunteering with the Armstrong-Spallumcheen Museum and Arts Society for over 13 years. Using her exceptional archivist, research and IT skills, Linda has developed a user friendly program that she, and the volunteers she trains, can use to upload digitalized copies of historical photos and documents for easy access by the public. In addition, Linda is the Volunteer Coordinator and she readily lends a hand to organizational and fundraising projects. Linda is a down to earth volunteer dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of historical information. Thanks to Linda, the organization is part of the UBCO Archives Digitalization Project making it possible for wider access to the information they have and continue to collect.
