SASFY encourages youth to learn new skills and make new friends. By giving students the opportunity to engage in 3 art forms in the span of the week, students are given a taste of interests they may have not thought to explore. SASFY invigorates the budding artist in each pupil to move their past time into a passion, and therefor creates growth in the Art community. In a society which pushes kids into STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths) careers, SASFY nurtures the artist in all.
