Extra Information

Silver Lake and acres of surrounding forest provide ample room for campers to discover not just the wonders of nature, but the chance to learn, grow and thrive in a healthy outdoor environment.

About us

Silver Lake Forestry Center had been in operation for over 40 years and is known for offering quality forest education programs and outdoor camping experiences to young people between the ages of 7 and 16 years. The Camp includes a brand new lodge with full kitchen, 10 cabins that each sleep 8-10 people, 6 no-fee camping areas (first-come first-served, no reservations) and a beautiful lake that is fully stocked with rainbow trout.

What we believe in

The mission of Silver Lake Camp is to provide an opportunity to experience outdoor education and exploration in an environment designed to encourage meaningful and collaborative learning. An opportunity for all ages to reconnect to nature, themselves and others.
There’s something very special about overnight camps—lessons learned here last well beyond paddling a canoe for the first time or the final campfire—they help shape young lives and inspire new goals and dreams.
