During the - rather long - winters in BC, having access to your own home-grown fresh greens can be a day-dream of the spring and summer to come. By integrating indoor growing in your home you can beat the winter freeze of home-grown greens by growing them indoors! You can regrow food scraps or set up a microgreen, herb, sprout, or fresh veggie grow stand in any room of your home.

The Good Food Box has multiple objectives:
Increase regional food security by supporting local growers which encourages them to grow more.
Reduce the carbon footprint of food by sourcing food close to home
Offer local growers a living wage for their work to make growing a reasonable career choice.
Supports the local economy rather than far away economies.
Prince George Recycling & Environmental Action Planning Society is excited to join Do Some Good and we look forward to sharing our mission and impact with the community!
