We are so excited to be hosting our Community Appreciation BBQ this Friday, June 10 at the BC Gourmet Arts Festival! We are partnering with Studio 2880 to create an event to celebrate the resilience of the Prince George community over these last 2 difficult years. We would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to Integris Credit Union for the use of the #ICUBBQ (and their grill masters).

This event is free of charge and open to all. Admission to the festival is by donation. The BBQ will be a tented, outdoor event with people taking part in the sharing of tasty food and beverages, live entertainment, and cultural displays that are all showcased at the festival.

It is expected that this will be the City of Prince George's first major post-pandemic event, an opportunity for people to come out into the fresh air, meet old and make new connections, see what is new in the local business community and collectively look forward to a strong and sustainable new future together.
The #ICUBBQ has been called a lot of things โ€ฆ and today it got its forever name:
Kwun-Cho โ€œBig Fireโ€.
A very special thank you/snachailya to Lheidli T'enneh Elder Clifford Quaw for naming #ICUBBQ โ€ฆ even though he probably didnโ€™t mean to. ๐Ÿ˜‰
Weโ€™re honoured to support Lheidli T'enneh Health Services teamโ€™ Moccasin Walk today!

Welcome to Do Some Good Prince George Chamber of Commerce ! We are thrilled you have joined us and very much looking forward to supporting your community and economic development work here in Lheidli T'enneh territory!
At the Prince George Chamber of Commerce, weโ€™re committed to supporting local communities and the people who live here. We actively support these causes in the community to help make a difference: Community and Economic Development.

The Prince George Chamber of Commerce strives to connect, engage and enhance the quality of life in our community by providing opportunities for businesses to succeed.

The Chamber is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected by the membership. The work of the Chamber is carried out by staff as well as volunteer committees and task forces.

We speak on matters affecting our members, research business issues, encourage investment, work to broaden the tax base, support crime prevention programs, recognize the importance of education in providing employment skills, are aware of environmental and cultural issues and maintain contact and work with politicians to improve the manner and method of doing business in Prince George.

For newcomers, we are a primary resource for researching and understanding our community.

We couldnโ€™t be prouder to work alongside businesses, volunteers, and other community organizations to strengthen local communities.
