What a heartfelt Valentine's message from Okanagan College students on behalf of the Okanagan College Foundation.
Bellamy Homes chose to be a donor to help fund the new Trades Training Complex for this very reason. Helping students achieve their dreams of obtaining the right training to start a fulfilling and successful career.
As a small company giving $30,000 is a massive commitment but one that owner Les Bellamy feels obligated to do as part of our community giving initiative to help kids where we can.
Please consider being a donor to this worthwhile cause!
Recently I had the great privilege of awarding two fine Okanagan College students with the Canadian Studies Award. This is an award I established with Okanagan College Foundation (where I work) to recognize high-achieving students in Political Science and History courses at the College. As an OUC alumnus who has always been politically active, I am proud to support students who take an interest in learning more about our country’s government, politics, and history. Congratulations to Adam and Makeena, this year’s recipients!
Congratulations to our recent #SimpleGenerosity recipient from Valley First, a division of First West Credit Union, Dino Gini! He’s donating $1,500 to Okanagan College Foundation Basketball Society. Dino played a role in creating the Basketball Society and has coached basketball in Kelowna for over 25 years. He developed the program to provide opportunities for local players to compete at the next level without having to leave the community or province. Dino has always had a passion for basketball and he works hard to instill that passion in others and motivate youth in our community. Know a volunteer doing good work in your community?
