Locally, we run a Kelowna based Family Reading Program Fall-Spring for newcomer & refugee families. We collect donations of gently used children's books which we send to our partners in Uganda. To date we have diverted 125 tons of books from Okanagan landfills. To donate books, email us. Globally, we partner with grassroots organizations in Uganda to establish community & school libraries. We have shipped 10 containers of books and supported 12 literacy centres since our beginning in 2007.
