Extra information
At this time Heritage Park Middle School has no outside recreational activity available and we have a thriving student body eager to be engaged during break periods. The transition from High School to Middle School has left us with some unexpected needs for our student body. Having a park will also help the public by offering accessible entertainment for kids outside of school hours and build a strong sense of community as a whole.

Social Mission
We are looking to make the community a better place by installing a playground at the local Middle School that has transitioned from a Secondary School. We have a thriving student body eager to be engaged during their breaks and building a park will also help the public by offering accessible entertainment for kids outside of school hours and build a strong sense of community as a whole.
We hope to encourage play, exercise, and respect between students and their community.

École Heritage Park Middle School LAST HAUL!

We are loving the community support that we have had so far - thank you everyone!
Vote now for École Heritage Park Middle School by selecting an emoji below! Winning the $50,000 SimpleGenerosity grant from Envision Financial, a division of First West Credit Union will help École Heritage Park Middle School build a new playground. Having no equipment at the school makes it hard for kids to feel encouraged to play and socialize outside. Playgrounds are not simply for physical purposes, they have many social and developmental benefits for children as well. Encouraging the students to play, exercise, and participate on shared equipment helps develop a child’s ability to work with others, respect themselves and develop strong problem solving skills while learning to adapt to the environment around them. A new playground will provide accessible entertainment for kids during school and outside of school hours, building a strong sense of community as a whole. Thank you for helping us celebrate Canada150 and strengthening our communities with SimpleGenerosity!
