About us

Festivals Kelowna is a non-profit society that produces free, arts based outdoor programs and events that are all ages appropriate, family friendly, and appeal to a wide variety of tastes and interests.
Our events include the weekly concert series "Parks Alive!", the "Kelowna Buskers Program", our community's annual "Celebrate Canada Day Kelowna" festivities, and our new First Night event "New York New Year's Eve" family celebration. We introduced 2 fun new programs in 2015 including "Pianos in the Parks" where we placed 5 pianos in downtown locations available for everyone to play, and "Arts on the Avenue", a visual arts festival. We also present "Buskers on Bernard" in mid-August as part of our Kelowna Buskers Program.
We proudly work with the City of Kelowna, our major funder and a key supporter of community-focused, accessible, cultural festivals and events to animate our parks and public spaces.
