It’s always a great day when it begins with a visit to our friends at Canuck Place Children's Hospice. Recipients of a $10,000 Envision Financial, a division of First West Credit Union Community Endowment grant in 2019, Canuck Place was able to expand their in-patient care with increased counselling services at Canuck Place (CPCH) Dave Lede House (DLH). We are proud to support the incredible work you are doing in the local community and around the Province with children and families.
Prospera Credit Union South Granville was thrilled to have the opportunity to donate $200 to Canuck Place Children's Hospice on Credit Union Day last week. We admire the work you do and the support you offer to children and their families during difficult times.
Wow Emily!!! The first Canadian to complete swimming the English Channel. She finished the swim in 11 hours, 57 minutes and the 11th solo person to finish. The 17-year-old is also near her goal of raising $40,000 for Canuck Place Children's Hospice. What an amazing feat for you.

Winning the $50,000 SimpleGenerosity grant from Envision Financial, a division of First West Credit Union will ensure that Canuck Place nurses have a well-equipped nurse’s station to support the needs of children and families staying at Dave Lede House. The nursing station is the hub of the children’s care floor – it has visibility to all children’s rooms and lounge areas. The station is adjacent to the secured medication room and, when fully equipped, will facilitate access to health records and patient files, communications, security and other critical data. The counter is also a welcoming space that can be approached by visitors and families who wish to receive attention from the nurses. Thank you for helping us celebrate Canada150 and strengthening our communities with SimpleGenerosity!
