Wildlife Rescue Volunteer WRSOS
As a Wildlife Rescue Volunteer with WRSOS, you’ll play a crucial role in responding to rescue calls, safely containing and transporting injured or orphaned wildlife to licensed rehabilitators. This flexible, on-call position allows you to help animals in need while educating the public on coexisting with wildlife. Training and support are provided—no experience necessary, just a passion for wildlife and a willingness to help!

Mandatory initial and ongoing training provided. Mileage is paid via tax receipt at the end of the year.

To provide wildlife rescue services and education across the province of Saskatchewan. Our volunteers maintain a province-wide wildlife helpline and support our activities as a non-profit organization. We stand in solidarity among the provincial wildlife guardians to minimize wildlife suffering due to human interaction. We act as the community link between our trained volunteers, our partner agencies, and the wildlife across the region that require assistance.

  • Signed WRSOS Volunteer Agreement
  • 6 Month Minimum Commitment
  • Over 18 Years of Age
