Visitor

Helping residents to feel special and enjoy their day.

Visiting with seniors. The volunteer will be matched up with a resident and a visitation schedule will be set based on both of your availability. The volunteer is invited to visit with, read to, play a game with or listen to music together. Orientation and introductions to be provided.

This volunteer position has no scheduling requirements attached to it. You can work out your availability and time commitment directly with the organizer.

We are a 102 room seniors residence located in Powell River. With the support of our many volunteers we are able to improve the quality of life for our residents. Volunteers assist by giving emotional and social support, by helping in scheduled activity programs, and by bringing a special skill to share, such as music, to share a few ideas.
