Saturday Volunteer Shift

Note, volunteers must be 16 years of age to volunteer independently.
Examples of Volunteer Tasks:
Market shopping: Where you will build hampers and shop for our clients as well as help stock the area.
Dry sorting: where you will go through donations for quality control and date checks.
General cleaning: All can lend a helping hand with general cleaning in all areas of the food bank.
Food Rescue: Sustainability initiative for client access to fresh produce. Includes quality control and hamper building. As well as restocking.
Restocking: Restocking areas in the market to ensure quick accessibility to client products.

Available Shifts
Weekly on Saturdays for 3.5 hours. This shift has upcoming schedule changes. Next shift starts on May 10th 2025 8:30AM PDT.
Looking for 7 volunteers each day.
Every 7th day for a suggested 3 hours (flexible). Next shift starts on May 10th 2025 12:00PM PDT.
Looking for 9 volunteers each day.
