Men's Club Volunteer
Providing companionship and socializing with male residents at Evergreen.Looking for fellows who are comfortable having conversations, reading the newspaper and/or table games with socially isolated male residents. These visits can be done individually with one senior or in small a group.
This volunteer position has no scheduling requirements attached to it. You can work out your availability and time commitment directly with the organizer.

Evergreen Care UnitWe are a 74 bed residential care unit for seniors located in Powell River, BC. With the support of our many volunteers we are able to improve the quality of life for our residents. Volunteers assist by giving emotional and social support, by helping in scheduled activity programs, and by bringing a special skill to share, such as music, to share a few ideas.
